It is progressive like an air spring but only when you want it to be. The main air chamber is pressurized in the same fashion as a standard air shock and the minor air chamber is used to tune the spring to any rider’s personal tastes and preferences. The minor chamber features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) a volume adjuster and a Schrader valve for pressurizing the chamber. Changing these three adjustments creates distinctly different spring characteristics such as a very late, steep spring ramp or one that starts mid-stroke and gradually increases.
