X-Fusion has been making shocks since 1999.  Born from one of the most reputable frame makers in Taiwan, the company began life as Pro Shock.  As the brand grew, the low-end business developed into its own brand called Tough Shock.  The high-end performance business morphed into X-Fusion.  Eventually each company featured its own manufacturing facility, sales staff, and brand identity.

In 2007, X-Fusion opened up its US office in Campbell, California.  Located between Santa Cruz and Marin County, the office is close to the birthplace of mountain biking and near tons of epic singletracks.   Also in ’07, the Velvet R is introduced as an all-purpose single-crown fork accommodating everything from 80mm cross-country riding to 130mm hardcore trail riding.

Since that year, the X-Fusion brand has gained strong momentum.  It’s popular O2 air shocks are spec’d on several major bicycle brands including heavy-hitters Specialized and Cannondale and has enjoyed widespread success in Europe.

In 2009, the X-Fusion/Intense race team attacked the World Cup downhill circuit.  The team featured former New Zealand national champion, Kieran Bennett, and long-time X-Fusion pro, Ryan Condershoff.   The team tests the brand new Vector HLR the entire race season.  The production version is released to the public late in 2009.

In 2010 we plan on launching the long-awaited Vengeance all-mountain fork plus we have a few surprises up our sleeves.  Thanks for checking us out!
