I have spent much of the time since Sea Otter setting up the Team ODI X Fusion Intense website. Please check it out at formasone.com. The website is where we will be updating most frequently on what we have been up to so stay up to date by checking back often. We should have some video and more photos up soon.
Things to come: Features on the team bikes. Basically a bike check of each of the bikes, so consumers can see how the team sets up their personal rigs. Still waiting on a few things before this will be a possibility for all of the bikes, but our downhill bikes will probably be the first to launch.
Thanks again to everyone for all of your support! We are heading into a great season!
Tmac Report, Sea Otter 2010 and the Aptos Jump Jam
04/26/2010 / Tyler McCaul
I kind of lagged on sending this one out but I wanted to give an update on how everything went last week. Everything about Sea Otter was the same as usual. This was my 11th Sea Otter in a row and even though riding wise it may not be the most fun event on my calendar, I still don't plan on ever missing it. I got to catch up with a bunch of people that I haven't seen in awhile and good times were had. I raced downhill and dual slalom as well and the downhill track reinstated the fact that the Sea Otter dh track, is not my track. I ended up in 58th out of 125 which I guess is pretty good considering that it's been almost a year since I've done a downhill race against athletes that have been racing and training non stop since then. I was really looking forward to the dual slalom and just wanted to qualify, I made one mistake at the top in quali's, got off line, and missed making the round of 32 by .2 tenths of a second! The field of riders was pretty stacked with over 100 people entered and I came out in 35th. I wanted it pretty bad but there's always next year!
The monday following Sea Otter was our annual jump jam at the post office jumps in my hometown of Aptos. It went off. Coming out of the weekend I was happy to get back on some dirt jumps and felt like I was a little more in my own element. There were riders from all over the world that showed up and we rode from noon 'til dark. There were a ton of media folks and I made sure to do as many laps as possible to get as many shots as possible. I hope to see some pics in the mags of that event sometime in the near future.
This coming weekend I'll be going up to Bend, Oregon for Jamie Goldman's "Upside Down and Underground" contest. It's his first annual invite only contest and it should have a good turn out with lots of media covering it as well, so I hope to do good there. I'll keep everyone posted on how that goes!
Thanks again to everyone that helped me out at Sea Otter! I had a ton of help from everyone at GT throughout the entire week, from lodging to bike setups, I was covered. Also thanks to Shimano, X-Fusion, Maxxis, and Gamut for helping to get my bikes hooked up with all the right parts. You all helped big time!
Talk to you soon

ODI X-Fusion PRO GRT Update
04/26/2010 / Ryan Condrashoff
We got off to an early start this morning in PA. It was a scramble to get runs in during the short practice window with all the classes pushing their way to the front of the shuttle line. The track was still moist from the prior days showers but it was worn in nicely and everyone was excited to do their best in the finals.
JD and Brad both flatted somewhere near the top of the course. Both were on great pace and it is unfortunate that we weren’t able to see the times that they are both capable of. Griz and Ryan had clean runs with minimal mistakes that were good enough for 27th and 26th respectively.
Overall everyone was excited on the trip and had fun in there runs. ” Even though I flatted I kept going hard. I still ran a (2) 53 or something like that!” said JD just after his final.
We are having so much fun riding up here that we decided to stick around and do a few more runs on monday before heading to Bend, OR.
This last weekend was the 2nd race of the CCCX Super D series. X-Fusion was in attendance supporting a handful of riders and the series. John Hauer, Marketing Coordinator for X-Fusion took the Pro win for the second race in a row. He raced his Intense Tracer VP with X-Fusion suspension. The bike featured the Vengeance HLR fork and O2 RCX rear shock which helped lead him to over a 5 second victory.
