DESCRIBE THE PERFECT DAY OF RIDING FOR YOU…
Wake up early, power down a breakfast burrito and orange juice, go on an epic XC loop, get some tacos and horchata, Do some DH runs, Maybe find a huck , jump, or sketchy line and try to ride it, get out to some good dirt jumps and throw some side flights, get some burritos (probably with steak), ride a good skate park with lights on the 20 until I pass out, pretty much what I try to do as often as I can.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO MOUNTAINBIKING…

I was up early on a Saturday morning watching OLN hoping to catch some fishing or hunting shows, and accidentally stumbled across some downhill race coverage from Plattkill. I was so pumped on the disc brakes, totally futuristic to me at the time. It wasn’t for a few more years until I got my first mountain bike, but I’ve pretty much thought they are the coolest ever since.

HOW HAS THE MTB INDUSTRY CHANGED YOUR LIFE…
I have been really fortunate to work with some awesome companies over the years, I would love to race and be involved as long as I can. I never really had much direction in my life, but downhill racing has defined my path a lot for me, definitely thankful for that.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE DOING 10-20 YEARS FROM NOW…
10 years- I’d hope to still be racing competitively, but I would also be pumped to be seated in a company as a product manager focused on development, still riding, testing and working with top racers and riders.
20 years- Riding epics as often as possible is crazy places. Still testing, maybe have my name attached to a few products… who knows, maybe join the Bass Pro tour.

WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED THE MOST OUT OF RIDING YOUR BIKE…
Definitely fitness, training is amazing, especially when you have a purpose. Direction and a reason to wake up everyday. Practically everything I do has something to do with mountain biking. I love this sport, it always seems to center me and teach me knew things, even off the bike. Truly a vehicle through life. Seeing our great nation from the interstate will open your eyes a bit as well.
I have made some awesome friend from racing, being competitive with each other strangely is an awesome bond, also being out of your home country you have to open up a bit, it’s good for you.
